Stevington Parish Council has a number of vacancies for Parish Councillors.
A councillor’s primary role is to represent Stevington and the people who live here. Councillors make a huge difference to the quality of life of local people and how local issues are dealt with. So if you're passionate about your local community, we need you.
We encourage people from all backgrounds and experiences to reflect the communities they serve, to put themselves forward for election. As well as being an advocate for local residents and signposting them to the right people either at the Parish or Borough council, they should ensure that the community is informed about the issues that affect them.
Being a councillor is a voluntary position and is all about giving back to your community by bringing your energy, passion, and positive attitude. You can make a real difference to our local community in many ways as a councillor. You will be representing the views of local people to ensure our community gets the right services and support or you could be helping to shape the community by driving new ideas.
If you are interested in applying, please contact the Clerk of Stevington Parish Council at clerk@stevington-pc.gov.uk
